Nicelys Taxidermy is a full service taxidermy studio. It was founded almost 50 years ago by Leonard "Pete" Nicely and his wife, Sally. Eventually it will be turned over to the very talented and capable hands of their daughter, Shannon, and son-in-law, Timmy Porterfield.
Between Pete and Timmy, they have mounted most all species from all over the world for hunters all around the world.
We hold membership in State and National Associations and maintain all necessary State and Federal licenses and permits for taxidermy and importing/clearing international hunting trophies.
Pete has been a master measurer for SCI for 20+ years. He has hunted nationally and abroad enabling him to collect reference material first hand and observe animals in natural settings. All this invaluable experience and knowledge translates into top-notch mounts for discerning clients.
